Hello and welcome to Mt. Esty Manor!

We are a husband and wife team (aka Dave and Carolyn) from New England.

Mt. Esty Manor is a blog about our home, our love of mixing heirloom antiques with the more modern touches of our new house, honoring family traditions, entertaining, dining and travel. We would like to share with you our style of life which is a balance of home, family (and fur baby), friends, work and play.

When we are not blogging we are focusing on our business. We own a high end antique car restoration shop. So by day you will find Dave manning the shop and Carolyn splitting her time keeping the home fires burning as well as running the office at the shop.

Why Mt Esty Manor? Well it is a cheeky little name that we came up with for our new home. We purchased the house in December 2016 while it was still under construction. Since then we have been making this newly constructed house a home.
